Cambridge SOFA provides a positive social and environmental alternative for local householders who have unwanted but still usable furniture, electrical appliances and other household items that they no longer want or need.

Most of us will find ourselves in this position at some time, whether its because we’re moving home or simply replacing our existing furniture or domestic appliances with new items.

By donating your unwanted furniture or other household items to CSOFA you will be helping local environmental sustainability and helping those in need within our community who face difficulty furnishing their homes because of financial hardship.

We accept a wide range of furniture, large and small electrical appliances and other household goods such as carpets and curtains.

All we ask is that donated goods are in at least a reasonable and still usable condition.

We cannot accept furniture that is stained, very worn or damaged.

Large electrical appliances such as cookers fridges and washing machines must be in working order.

If the items that you have to donate are small and you have your own car then you are welcome to drop them off at our warehouse premises during our opening hours (click here for further details and a map).

If you have large pieces of furniture or electrical appliances to donate then we can arrange a collection using our Luton Box van.
