If you have large items of furniture - such as sofas, armchairs, beds, mattresses, wardrobes, tables, storage units and large electrical white goods - to donate we can easily arrange to collect these. We can collect from Cambridge City and most of the surrounding rural areas and can usually arrange a collection within 7-10 days.

We do try, wherever possible to accommodate donors when things have to be cleared promptly. If we do not cover the area in which you live, we can frequently suggest another more local project which may be able to help you.

Please note that we do ask for a nominal donation of £5-00 to cover the costs of our collection service.

We will need to ask you some questions about the goods you wish to donate. Often we will be able to arrange your collection when you call. If not then someone will call you back to arrange a day and time that is convenient to you. If when you call all our staff are busy then you can leave a message on our answerphone.
